Web Application Development

Scalable SaaS platforms, dashboards and data-driven web applications. Typically $25,000-$80,000 over 3-6 months. Recent work includes Pulse, a confidential employee feedback platform.

A web application is software your users log into and do work inside. That is a different discipline from building a website: state, permissions, data integrity and edge cases matter more than page design. We build applications that stay correct as they grow.

What you get

  • Multi-user authentication with roles and permissions that hold up under scrutiny
  • A database schema designed for the questions you will actually ask of your data
  • Dashboards, reporting and exports your team can use without a developer
  • Third-party integrations — payments, email, CRM, whatever the workflow needs
  • Automated tests around the logic that would hurt most if it broke
  • Deployment pipeline, monitoring and error tracking configured before launch
  • Documentation for the parts your future developers will need to understand

Recent work

Pulse — confidential employee feedback

An anonymous employee survey platform built around a hard constraint: the organisation running the survey must never be able to identify who said what. That requirement shapes everything — no identity collection, aggregate-only reporting, and access controls designed so results cannot be traced back to an individual. The survey itself runs 12 to 15 minutes, and the confidentiality guarantee is stated plainly to every participant before they start. View the live platform →

How we work

  1. Discovery & strategy. We map the workflows, user roles, data model and success metrics into a roadmap before building.
  2. Design & prototype. Interactive prototypes of the core flows, validated before development begins.
  3. Build & test. Agile sprints with automated testing and a live staging environment, so you see progress weekly rather than at the end.
  4. Launch & scale. Production deployment, performance monitoring and continued iteration.

Technology

Front end in React, Next.js or Vue with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Back end in Node.js, Python, Laravel or Go, with REST or GraphQL APIs. Data in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis, containerised with Docker and running on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure. We pick from this set based on your team and your constraints, not on fashion.

Investment and timeline

Web applications typically range from $25,000 to $80,000 and take 3 to 6 months. An MVP scoped to prove one thing lands at the lower end; a multi-role platform with integrations sits higher. You get a detailed estimate after a free 30-minute discovery call.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a web application cost?

A web application typically ranges from $25,000 to $80,000 depending on the number of user roles, integrations and how much of the logic is genuinely custom. We give you a detailed estimate after a free 30-minute discovery call.

How long does it take to build?

A web or mobile application typically takes 3 to 6 months. We provide a precise timeline after the discovery and design phase, once scope is agreed.

Can you build an MVP first?

Yes, and often we recommend it. About half our projects are MVPs for early-stage startups. We scope the smallest version that genuinely tests your assumption, ship it, and expand from what you learn rather than guessing up front.

Who owns the code?

You do. You get the repository, the infrastructure configuration and the documentation. We sign an NDA before any detailed discussion of your project, and nothing about your application is reused elsewhere.

How do we communicate during the project?

Slack for daily communication, Notion for project documentation, Figma for design reviews, and a live staging environment for progress visibility. You have a dedicated project manager throughout.
