An honest word on scope

AI is a good fit for tasks with fuzzy input and tolerance for review — and a poor fit where an error is expensive and unreviewable, or where a plain rule would do the job more cheaply and predictably. A large amount of what gets sold as AI automation is better solved by a scheduled job and a well-designed form. We will tell you when that is the case, before you spend money finding out.

2. Prototype. A narrow version against your real data, because AI results on your data rarely match the demo.
3. Build & test. Production implementation with evaluation, guardrails, fallbacks and human review where it belongs.
4. Launch & scale. Monitoring for quality drift and cost, and iteration as the models underneath change.

Technology

We work with the Claude and OpenAI APIs, with retrieval built on your own content, and the surrounding services in Python, Node.js or Go. Data in PostgreSQL and Redis, deployed on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure. Where your data cannot leave your environment, we scope accordingly rather than pretending that constraint away.

Investment and timeline

A narrowly scoped automation or a single AI feature is usually a short engagement. AI capability built into a product sits in our web application range of $25,000 to $80,000 over 3 to 6 months. Ongoing model and API usage is billed to your own provider account, in your name, so you can see and control it directly.
